Contact form · Updated 4 November 2026
This notice explains how Chiaroscuro Studio, based in Porto, Portugal, handles information sent through this website’s project inquiry form. For questions or requests about your information, contact chiaroscuros.studio@gmail.com.
What you share
The form asks for your name, email address, company and a short project description. Your email address and agreement to this policy are required; the other fields are optional. Without an email address, we cannot respond through the form. Please avoid including sensitive personal information or confidential project materials in your first message.
How we use your inquiry
We use the information you provide to review your request, discuss the project and prepare an offer. This processing supports steps you request before entering into a contract, or our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries made on behalf of a company. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing emails.
Delivery and service providers
The website is hosted by Hostinger. Chiaroscuro Studio uses Gmail, provided by Google, to receive correspondence at chiaroscuros.studio@gmail.com. Hosting and email providers process information as part of operating the website and delivering and storing correspondence. These services may involve processing outside the European Economic Area under the providers’ applicable data-protection arrangements. You can contact us for further information about the providers and safeguards used for your inquiry.
Contact-form inquiries are sent through Hostinger’s email service using info@chiaroscuros.net and delivered to the studio’s Gmail mailbox. The email address you enter is used as the reply address so that we can respond directly to your inquiry.
Storage and security
We keep correspondence for as long as it is needed to answer your inquiry, manage the resulting project or maintain records required by law. The contact form does not create a public database of inquiries. It uses an essential session cookie to protect submissions and a hidden field to help detect automated submissions.
During local development only, test inquiries are saved privately on the development computer instead of being emailed. Test files are eligible for removal after 24 hours and are cleared when local testing is completed.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to access or correct your personal information, request its deletion or restriction, or object to processing where applicable. You may also request data portability where the applicable conditions are met. Send requests to chiaroscuros.studio@gmail.com. You may raise a concern with Portugal’s Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD) or your relevant data-protection authority.
